Certified through the Ohio Dept. of Developmental Disabilities and Medicaid to provide Medicaid Waiver Services, including:
Community Respite
Non-medical Transportation
Adult Day Habilitation
Homemaker/Personal Care
Vocational Services
Other supports
April 3: Opened our Adult Day Habilitation and Non-Medical Transportation Services providing M-F, year-round recreational and pre-vocational services; providing services to 14 clients.
Received a $20,000 grant from the Good Shepherd Foundation to purchase a tractor
Provided a week-long summer day camp for 36 children & adults (ages 5-28) with a developmental disability and their typical siblings
Partnered with Dayton Urban Grown to erect a 20x60 hoophouse to extend the growing season and add another space for programming
Added 3 brown female rabbits to our family of animals
Added rotational pastures for the goats to improve diet and health
2022: Year of Expansion
Added more than our projected 5 new adult Day Services clients.
Added two vans for transportation needs.
Added to our staff, several Direct Support Professionals and a p/t Administrative Assistant.
Increased our summer camp from 36 campers to 48 campers.
2023: Year of Growth
Increase capacity for future growth.
Add to Day Services and increase the number of clients served.
Put 5 year Strategic Plan into place.
Add a second Summer Day Camp Option.
Continue providing quality services and programs to individuals with developmental disabilities.
